Earthquake jolts Swat, adjoining areas

A mild earthquake, measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale, jolted Swat, Chitral, Upper Dirbala, Malakand, Nawshehra, Mardan, Batkhala and adjoining areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhaw on Sunday at 2.40PM.
The epicentre for the earthquake was reported to be Koh-e-Hindukush at a depth of 175 km. There was no report of casualties in the earthquake.
