Scott Quigg broke his jaw in Carl Frampton fight
Scott Quigg is undergoing surgery for a broken jaw after his defeat to Carl Frampton, promoter Eddie Hearn has revealed.
Northern Irishman Frampton won a split decision for the unified WBA and IBF super-bantamweight world title - improving his perfect professional record to 22-0.
He dominated the early stages of an attritional fight, before Quigg came on strong in the later rounds, ultimately leaving it too late to win on the scorecards.

The Bury fighter admitted after the bout that he suspected he had suffered the injury in the fourth round after being caught by the Ulsterman.
Quigg said: “In the second half of the fight I started putting my foot to the pedal and I had him going in the 11th.
“I wasn’t going to steam out at someone as good as Carl, I had to show respect to him.
“He caught me with a good shot in the fourth. I think my jaw has gone.
“Fair play to him, it was a great fight. With the judges’ scorecards, I should have started faster, but it’s too late now.
“I’d love a rematch.”
